Blot Engineering is a diversified engineering and consulting firm with offices in Kansas and Missouri. They offers preliminary design, program management, technical structural and civil engineering, construction documents and specifications, permitting, bidding, construction management, and project close outs.
Blot Engineering contacted Alethia Inc for a corporate website development and design. They were looking for high-end corporate website in a very short period of time. The whole site must be non-static pages with dynamically generated content, containing various types of information including: text, graphical images and form-based mail. All of this information can be easily processed and added-on by Blot Engineering staff in the future. Also we paid a lot of attention to the graphical layout, simplicity of navigation, and overall usability.

As this was a rush project (build in less than one month), the basis of the website design was done within 2 days. After the initial design we showed the website to the client for feedback, then modified and changed the layout to meet client needs and expectations.
Blot Engineering's staff can easily add new content and upload as many images as they want from the admin area.
We developed both the web design and wed programming at the same time. Our programming team always work closely with clients to make sure the system is powerful enough to meet the client's needs, but also easy enough to operate for any level of user.
A Google map showing Blot Engineering's head office was also integrated on the about us page to make it easier for Blot Engineering's customers to find them. We made sure that it is easy to use and modify by the staff at Blot Engineering.
