When looking for someone to develop their first ever web presence the staff at Hana Lima Maui looked to us here at Alethia Inc. because we are the leading experts in ZenCart translations for the Japanese market.
We designed their site to be a dynamic e-commerce solution that was fully integrated for Japanese customers and staff who would be able to maintain the site without any help from us (although we are always available for them if need be).

When the staff at Hana Lima Maui add a new product to their catalog, all they have to do is create a product, upload an image, and enter the information. That product is then posted automatically in the "new products" section, which displays on the front page of the website.
In addition to the automatically generated "new products" section, ZenCart adds new products to the catalog that is organized into each product category. This menu makes shopping easy for the site's visitors as they can find exactly what they are looking for right away. If the customer wants to browse, however, the menu stays in place and they can easily look through the categories as they see fit. Did we mention that this listing is also dynamically populated every time the Hana Lima Maui staff add a product (no codding required).
Each product also has its own page where a larger picture is displayed along with more in depth product details. The customer also has the option to change the quantity of the items that they are ordering directly on this page.
As you have noticed, this entire site is presented in Japanese. As the main customer base for this company is comprised of native Japanese speakers, we went to great lengths to make sure that all of their needs were met. This included a full UTF-8 conversion, including the database. This also included localization of the most current ZenCart for the Japanese Market.
